WDAA - Working Dog Aids Association

La Working Dog Aids Association is an association dedicated to supporting dog teams around the world.

Created by three passionate and committed dog owners, the association aims to collect and redistribute dog equipment to the units that need it most.

Thanks to donations from individuals, professionals and dog units, we enable teams that are sometimes isolated or lack the means to have essential equipment for training and operational missions.

The creation of the WDAA

The idea was born after a meeting with Argentinian dog handlers, surprised by the amount of technical equipment we had, even though it seemed quite common to us.

This awareness revealed the strong disparities in equipment between units depending on the country. We therefore decided to collect canine technical equipment from individuals and professionals in order to give it a second life.

Our first shipment was made in September 2025 to dog handlers in the Jujuy region, Argentina. Our objective is now to continue this action by concretely supporting dog handler pairs engaged in essential missions.

Our mission: to support dog teams

The dog units play an essential role in many areas:

• security and law enforcement

• search and rescue

• detection

• protection

Our mission is to support these teams by providing them with essential dog equipment, notamment :

• leads and long lines

• harnais

• muzzles

• training tubes

• biting costumes and equipment

• work and training equipment

Rather than throwing away this equipment when it is no longer used, we offer to offer them a second life for the benefit of dog units in need.

Donate dog equipment

Do you have equipment that you no longer use?

Rather than leaving it unused or throwing it away, you can donate it to the association so that it can be redistributed to a dog unit.

Donations can concern different types of equipment:

• training equipment

• work equipment for dogs

• canine accessories

• clothing or equipment related to the dog's work

Each donation helps concretely support a team and improve the training conditions of working dogs.

How does the collection take place?

The collection of materials is organized in several ways:

– Collection during the Cyno-Ops seminar

A general collection is organized during the Cyno-Ops seminar.

Participants can simply drop off their material on the association stand during the event.

– Collections during dog events

Collections can also be organized during:

• monthly canine-unit meetings

• training sessions

• rassemblements

• specialist training

These collections make it possible to centralize material from different units and enthusiasts from the dog world.

Redistribution of material

All equipment collected is redistributed free of charge to the units selected by the association.

The beneficiaries are chosen according to several criteria:

• lack of material resources

• isolated dog units

• structures located in emerging countries

• specific operational needs

The objective is to give priority to supporting teams that most need equipment to work in good conditions.

A personne ressource within the association is responsible for:

• centralise donations

• prepare the packages

• organize the shipment of materials

Financing of shipments can be done through:

• a cagnotte en ligne opened before shipments

• the sale of products derived from the association (t-shirts, patchs, etc.)

These actions make it possible to cover logistics costs and transport equipment to beneficiary units.

By donating dog equipment or relaying the initiative, you contribute directly to supporting the teams and working dogs who work on essential missions every day.
